Hey, my name is Lloyd Knapman
I started marketing online back in late 2013 from my university dorm room.
I was completely broke and in a ton of student debt.
The idea of staying in university for another 3 or 4 years, only to graduate and go into working a 9 to 5 job for the rest of my life, didn’t exactly sound like a life I wanted to live.
So I turned to the internet in search of a way to “make money online” (yes I googled that phrase lol).
When I first started I had no idea what I was doing.
I started off trying to sell things from Amazon on eBay, I started blogs and I joined a few “business opportunities”.
I made some money from each of these different methods, but not much.
The one that made the most was the selling Amazon products on eBay, it was going well but I wanted to make more. So I bought a digital course that taught you how to do it, and it helped. The information inside the digital course helped me make more money on eBay.
At the end of the course, the course owner had an affiliate page. On this page, it stated that I could earn 75% commission promoting his course to other people.
That blew my mind and introduced me to the world of affiliate marketing.
This was a game-changer for me, and it changed everything!
I started using Facebook ads to promote this digital course as an affiliate & I started to make good money.
Enough money to make me drop out of university and peruse this affiliate marketing thing full time.
Little did I know that decision to drop out and go at this full time would result in just a few years later making millions of dollars in commissions as an affiliate for multiple digital courses and software in multiple different niches.
From this awesome business model of affiliate marketing, I’ve been able to create the lifestyle of my dreams.
So that’s me!
I’m a normal guy from the UK who discovered affiliate marketing back in University, and from that, I’ve been able to create a life for myself I could have only ever dreamt of just a few short years ago.
So if you’re struggling to start your own business, stick with it, and keep going, because in the end, it’s worth it 🙂
